Volunteer: Monthly Community Meal providerWe are looking for groups (civic, faith-based, or community organizations or families) to provide a nutrituous, healthy meal to the residents of our affordable senior housing communities. Groups can choose one afternoon or evening a month to provide and serve a meal to our residents who range in age from 62 to 96 years old. You can bring your own food to prepare on site, or prepare off site and bring and serve to our residents. You can choose the date and whether it's lunch or dinner. Our communities range in size from 12 apartments to 60 apartments. We are looking for people who are comfortable working with an older population and understand the benefits of healthy food choices for seniors (e.g. low-sodium and low-sugar recipes).
