The ReStore is a discount retail outlet for new and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances, and other surplus items donated by individuals, contractors, and businesses. It is staffed mostly by volunteers and generates revenue to fuel the cost of home construction and critical repair and modification projects while providing low-cost materials for the community. The ReStore has also kept more than 4 million pounds of materials out of landfills! We are in need of helpers to go with the driver to retrieve donated items. While you must be able to lift 50 lbs., we're mindful of safety and all large items are lifted by two people. This is a fun position, giving you a chance to see the midcoast region and be part of Habitat's important mission.
