Friends of Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge

The mission of the Friends of Maine Coastal Islands NWR is to support Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge in its efforts to conserve, protect, and enhance the rich diversity of coastal habitats, seabirds, and other wildlife.

FOMCI supports the Maine Coast Islands National Wildlife Refuge by providing visitor engagement service at the Refuge Visitor Center in Rockland, ME, providing engaging public events surrounding wildlife science and conservation, and supporting research interns out on the seabird colony islands throughout the summer.
