United Way of Mid Coast Maine along with our community partners will be hosting a community-wide volunteer training for individuals who have been or hope to volunteer with New Mainers in the Brunswick area.
This orientation will cover
- Overview of New Mainer Needs/ Background
- Cultural Competency
- Expectation of Volunteers
- Panelist discussion with community volunteers
- Opportunity to sign-up for volunteer opportunities
The orientation will take place on December 11 from 2-4 and December 14 from 2-4 please only register for one. Both events will take place in the Morrell Meeting Room at Curtis Memorial Library.
