United Way of Mid Coast Maine's Community Response Initiative is seeking a volunteer to help coordinate transportation for "Connecting to Tomorrow" interns who need transportation to/from their internship sites.
Tasks would include calling the Brunswick Taxi, and other transportation services to schedule rides for interns on the days/times they are needed. The volunteer would work closely with the Community Response Manager to ensure the rides meet the needs of the interns and that finances are tracked for grant reporting.
This position can be in-person or hybrid and requires a person to be organized, prompt, and able to clearly communicate via phone and email.
The estimated time requirement is 2 hours per week.
The transportation coordinator will not be driving any interns to or from their worksite.
