SEARCH (Seek Elderly Alone, Renew Courage & Hope) Visitation Volunteers are matched with an elderly person to visit with for a few hours each week and provide support, companionship, and help with daily tasks.Key Responsibilities:Visit an elderly person 2-4+ hours per week and provide services as agreed uponNotify the SEARCH program of any changes or concerns regarding the person's circumstancesSend in a monthly service reportMaintain regular communication with SEARCH staffUnderstand and adhere to the principle of confidentialityHandle all financial transactions in an honest, responsible manner and report them accurately to the person served and to the programThe SEARCH Visitation Volunteer supports the mission of the SEARCH program to enable the frail, vulnerable elderly to remain independent and increasingly connected to a caring community.To learn more about this opportunity and fill out our online volunteer application, please click here!
