The Brunswick New Mainers Initiative is seeking volunteers to help move and build furniture for 12 asylum seeking families moving on to the Brunswick Landing. We will primarily be moving beds, bed frames, couches, tables and household goods. We will also be assembling bed frames, tables, and couches and making sure the apartments are ready for move-in.
Please bring close-toed shoes, comfortable clothing and a water bottle. Other coffee/tea and snacks will be provided.
The event should run from 10am until 4pm. Please plan to come at 10am, but there is no obligation to stay until 4. We will start to clean up at 3pm.
