Mid Coasts Hospital's Community Health Improvement Department supports strategies and programs to improve the health of communities in Sagadahoc County, Brunswick, and Harpswell.
Mid Coast Hospital's Community Health Improvement team coordinates Access Health, a coalition working to make healthy choices easy for and provides free programming and technical assistance focused on tobacco prevention, nutrition and physical activity, mental health awareness and trainings, and substance misuse prevention. We also partner with our community to address social determinants of health, including food and housing insecurity and access to healthcare.
